For parents and guardians

Your player found PAK.Here’s what you need to know.

PAK is a competitive gaming club for teens 13 to 18. The rest of this site is written for them. This page is written for you — the practical questions, answered plainly.

What is PAK?

PAK runs in-person video game tournaments called Drops — Saturday events where teens compete on one screen, in front of a crowd, for a rank they have to win. Rank in PAK is earned by winning and can’t be bought. The point is real competition in a real room with other players and spectators, not more time online alone.

Every member holds a PAK ID — a permanent member number created in the PAK app. Gamertags change; the PAK ID doesn’t. There are no accounts or sign-ups on this website; the app is coming soon. Inside the app there are no open direct messages and no public feed — it is built for competition, not chat.

Who supervises it?

Every Drop is run and staffed by adults. PAK Gaming, Inc.’s own team runs the room, the equipment, and the competition floor from doors to final match, and adult staff are present at every event. Disputes during an event are handled on-site by the Event Director.

The public faces of the club are its three Brand Ambassadors — Tyler, Kenny, and Noah, each 18. They represent the founding network as community faces; they are not staff, security, or safety authorities, and no part of event operations or supervision rests with them.

Per-venue staffing plans are published before Drop 0001 registration opens.

Ages

Competitors are 13 to 18. Guardians are always welcome at any Drop and always attend free — no ticket, no fee, no separate line to stand in.

Where is my child going?

For players, the venue is announced late on purpose — the reveal is part of the event. On the day of a Drop, the game is revealed at 12:00 PM; the venue unlocks in the app at 3:00 PM for PAK+ members and at 4:00 PM for everyone. That mystery is a feature for players. It is never how we handle information with parents, and it is never a surprise for you.

Exact event locations are provided to registered participants and their parent/guardian before the event.

Every player has the address, the schedule, and what they need to bring well before doors open.

When do I receive the address?

The venue address, event schedule, and emergency contact information arrive with the registration confirmation — before the event, every time.

You can also link to your player in the PAK app: you request to follow them as a guardian, they approve the request, and from then on you see what they see — their PAK ID, their Drop history, and their upcoming events.

Security, check-in and check-out

Entry runs on signed QR passes, not a guest list. A pass is issued only after a registration is confirmed, is tied to one player and one event, and works exactly once. A staff member scans every pass at the door — check-in is staffed, never self-serve — and every scan is logged, including failed attempts. If a player loses their pass, staff verify their identity at the door and record the exception.

At the end of the night, players are picked up by their parent or guardian at the venue. The written check-out procedure is published before Drop 0001 registration opens.

Food

Food trucks are on site. Players and guardians can buy food and drinks at the event.

Transportation

PAK does not transport players. Parents drop off and pick up at the venue, and the venue has parking. Because you receive the address and the full schedule in advance, drop-off and pickup times are never a guess.

Code of conduct

Zero tolerance: no alcohol, no drugs, no harassment. A player who breaks those rules is removed from the event without a refund. Beyond that, every player is expected to respect the venue, the staff, and their opponent — grounds for disqualification exist and are enforced.

Competition formats and rules are on the rules page.

What it costs

Event admission
$5 for PAK+ members, $10 standard — set per event
Tournament entry
$20 all-in — charged only on select tournaments, not at every Drop
Guardians
free — always
PAK+ (optional)
$3.99 per month, purchased in the app only

Season 0 pricing preview — subject to final launch decisions. Prize money is fixed and funded in advance; it is never a pot built from entry fees.

Refunds

The full Season 0 refund policy is published before Drop 0001 registration opens. Two things are already set: guardians never pay, so there is nothing to refund for a parent attending; and a player removed for a conduct violation is not refunded.

// HOW TO USE THIS PAGE

Parents & Guardians

A plain-language guide to PAK Gaming for parents: who runs it, where your player is, how check-in and security work, and what it costs — no lore, no jargon.

Finding an answer fast

Every topic has its own heading above — supervision, ages, location and timing, security, food, transportation, conduct, cost, and refunds. There's no account or sign-up needed to read any of it.

Getting the venue address

You don't have to ask for it. The address, schedule, and emergency contact information arrive automatically with your registration confirmation, before every event.

Following your player

In the PAK app, you can request to link to your player as a guardian. Once they approve it, you can see their PAK ID, Drop history, and upcoming events.
